OUR STORY

Digital Health Technology in Suriname will be used to improve patient care and informed decision-making of the Ministry of Health in Suriname.


The Information Systems for Health (IS4H) initiative, guided by the PAHO/IDB framework with the goal to revolutionize Suriname's healthcare through digital transformation. This initiative is designed to enhance patient care by improving continuity of care, efficiency, and patient experience, all while aiding the Ministry of Health in policy formation through data-informed decision-making. The transformation will elevate the overall quality of healthcare services for all and ultimately have a cost saving effect. With this transformation citizens can look forward to receiving faster, more efficient services, resulting in improved health outcomes with the goal to have greater patient satisfaction.
